Jolly good
Cor blimey...it's only record UK employment, innit.
Total employment rose by another +324,000 over the year to May to sit above 32 million for the first time, driven by gains in full time employment.
The employment rate rose to the highest level since comparable records began in 1971 at 74.9 per cent, having sunk horribly through the financial crisis.
Earnings are still trundling along, but the unemployment rate fell to a 42-year low of just 4.5 per cent.
Pushing on a string, hey...it's a right bang-up job!
