Units! Thousands of 'em

Australia built more than 211,000 dwellings last year, which has meant big bickies for developers, with many apartments being sold offshore. 

And a record 95,000 of dwelling completions were attached dwellings.

It's a lot, and non-resident buyers are finding financing much harder to come by. 

We're now seeing fairly widespread evidence of significant discounting on new apartment projects in Brisbane.
