Tim Lawless of CoreLogic produced more valuable analysis to show how mortgage rates were still trending lower through July.
The average mortgage rate fell by 3 basis points overall (and 1 basis point for new originations).

Lawless pointed out that there are plenty of diverse products and trends out there at the moment, so it's probably not a bad idea to speak to a mortgage professional to make sure you're getting the best deal.
