SQM Research reported that property listings declined in all capital cities in April 2025, led by -7 per cent declines in Sydney and Canberra.
There was probably a fair bit of disruption this month due to Easter, ANZAC weekend, and the Federal election.
Listings will likely remain low until the spring selling season rolls around.
Asking prices rose +0.7 per cent over the month of April, driven by a large increase in Sydney.
