Bump

Bell tolls

New stock listings are tight, and we've seen the price of some apartments sold in Sydney gap higher.

Here's the median price of Sydney units sold at auction today, albeit on low volumes.

There was also quite a bounce for houses, up to $1,370,000.

That's only one week of data, granted, and quite possibly the results were skewed by the higher quality stock selling.

They say nobody rings a bell at the bottom of the market, which is of course true.

But this time around the bell was metaphorically rung by Antony Green on ABC News, 1½ hours into the election night coverage, as the reported votes cast were the reverse of the opinion polls.
