Melbourne auctions fade

Auctions dipping

Another nail in the coffin for the macroprudential intervention calls.

Melbourne's preliminary auction clearance rate slumped to 62 per cent this weekend, with only 145 auctions reported as sold from 641 listed (partly due to the long weekend).

This implies a final result of somewhere in the 50s.
