Consumer confidence hits a 19-week high

Confidence recovering

The long road to recovery finally gathers some momentum.

Consumer confidence rose by another +2.1 per cent this week to the highest level in 19 weeks, according to the latest ANZ-Roy Morgan survey. 

The confidence rating has rebounded by 49.6 per cent since March 29.


Confidence on March 29 was at the lowest ebb since 1973 as confusion reigned.
