The Office for State Revenue (OSR) reported New South Wales duty receipts of $8.7 billion for the financial year.
That's an increase of 19.4 per cent from 2014/15, and the biggest financial year on record by a truly monumental margin.
A huge bonanza that will help in to fuel the NSW infrastructure boom.
Receipts can't possibly last at these levels and will quite obviously decline in due course.
Today's Lending Finance data for May will show that investor activity has been curbed, which in turn will directly impact stamp receipts going forward.
