Stocks to a 2.5 year low

A sixth trade in the red for the ASX, with the All Ordinaries (XAO) down by 18 points or 0.36 per cent to its lowest level since July 2013.

BHP Billiton (ASX: BHP) nosedived by another 2 per cent to a fresh 10 year low of $16.27 on fresh expectations of the dividend being cut, while healthcare stocks were clobbered on new in new todays of budget cuts pertaining to the sector.

Overall, 2015 has been a cruddy year for the sharemarket, Santa Claus rally or no.
