London's Paternoster Square, home to the London Stock Exchange and several of the major investment banks since 2004, with the precint having seen the undertaking of a major redevelopment between 1997 and 2003.

The square had been one of the primary targets for the "Occupy London" protest in 2011, and has taken on several guises over the years, having been a devastated victim of the Blitz in World War II.

Fortunately St. Paul's Cathedral survived the Blitz largely intact - there has been a church on the site since AD 604, although the existing cathedral was constructed between 1675 and 1720.

The redeveloped square is now a pretty cool area, with a retail precinct mixed in with the commercial office space.
