Consumer confidence was up 3.2 per cent for the week.
This moved the 4-week average up just a notch to 115.83, well ahead of the monthly average since 1990 of 112.8.
The rebound was driven by a sharp 7.8 per cent increase in household views towards economic conditions, thanks to "the solid performance of the domestic economy".
That said, the US election outcome might have a say in how this series tracks over the next week or two...lol.
